WORN IN COVER FINAL (1).jpg

WORN IN - SINGLE

This song is really close to my heart, the idea came to from how we can all feel a little ‘second hand’ in life, but there is magic in the ‘worn in’ nature of life and items. Written with Nashville based dynamic duo Templeton Thomson and Sam Gay, and producer Rod McCormack. The beautiful, country music queen Gina Jeffreys, who of course is my mentor and dear friend agreed to collaborate with me on the track. I couldn't be more grateful to have paired her vocals with Rod’s masterful production. I couldn't be happier with the result, it gave me goosebumps the first official listen through!

ALL ABOUT YOU - SINGLE

Courtney Keil reveals her latest release ‘All About You’. An energetic feel-good, up tempo country love song that she co-wrote with producer Rod McCormack and Nashville songstress Sally Barris. ‘We set out to write an anthemic, feel good song. As songwriters it’s often naturally easier to write slower heartbreak songs so we wanted to focus on the love I have in my life and how it makes me feel. We tapped into some of the contradictions about me as a person and finding ‘the one’ that makes you feel sure of everything else’ says Keil.

NOTHIN' LIKE A SURE BET - SINGLE

It’s the first taste of new music since her #1 acclaimed debut album, ‘The Good Kind’, released earlier this year. Country songstress, Courtney Keil, is drawing on the queen of hearts in her catchy new single, ‘Nothin’ Like a Sure Bet’.

“Tonight my losing streak is through / I could win it all on you,” sing’s Courtney in her unmistakable honeyed vocal. The single is rampant with clever risk taking references, delivered with a heft of swagger - a classic country feel-good song with a dash of attitude and the confidence of only accepting the best.

THE GOOD KIND - ALBUM

Courtney’s debut album ‘The Good Kind’ was the #1 Australian album on the iTunes Country Australia chart and debuted at #11 on the AIR 100% Independent Albums chart, across all genres. A collection of songs written over the past three years that are cheerful, feel-good, with a mix of love and heartbreak with 90’s country sounds. The album is packed with brilliantly talented musicians and was produced by award winning producer and multi-instrumentalist Rod McCormack, the Music Cellar.
