ABOUT COURTNEY
In 2025, Courtney was crowned the ‘Best Female Vocal’ in January for the third consecutive year at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards. Off the back of Courtney’s release of ‘Worn In’, a beautiful duet featuring vocals with Platinum and Multi Golden Guitar Winner Gina Jeffreys, came the nostalgic, profoundly personal single ‘Just Like Flying’. The tune paid homage to her late grandfather’s triumphs in his hometown in the Barossa Valley sharing stories of his youth, during Australia’s Jubilee year of 1951.
The past few years have brought exciting opportunities for this down to earth, authentic, country artist including performances with Gina Jeffreys and Max Jackson on ‘Crusin Country’ aboard the Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas, her own headline show ‘Fierce and Fearless’ at the 2024 Tamworth Country Festival and The Crowbar at 2024 Gympie Music Muster.
Courtney has supported industry greats including Brian Cadd, The Whitlams, Adam Harvey, Karise Eden and country favourites Angus Gill and Andrew Swift. Delivering stand out performances on Channel 7 ‘Good Friday Appeal’ / ‘Kids Day Out’’, 7 Network / Fox Sports Supercars Championship in Bathurst and Sandown and NBL Grand Final Re-Match, Courtney is no stranger to this arena.
Her debut album ‘The Good Kind’, stormed to #1 on the iTunes Country Australia chart upon its 2023 release, producing four #1 iTunes Country singles. Masterfully produced by the multi-instrumentalist and award-winning Rod McCormack, the album showcases her artistry and passion for authentic country storytelling. In all her releases Courtney brings us superb vocal depth and passion, while collaborating with eminent Nashville songsmiths including Sam Gay (Deric Ruttan / Little Texas), Templeton Thompson (Reba McEntire / Jo Dee Messina) and Sally Barris (Trisha Yearwood / Keith Urban) her collection of standout pieces that speak of endurance, sentiment and courage.
Behind the scenes a sophomore album is in the works, including a mid-year trip to Nashville with producer Rod McCormack, Courtney Keil is building upon her collection of standout pieces that speak of endurance, sentiment and courage and is cementing her place as a rising star in Australian country music.
